Africa ICBC Construction

In Community by Community (ICBC) is a holistic ministry model focused on strengthening communities in Eswatini, Africa. Each ICBC is a small rural church plant that provides a home for the pastor, a church building, a preschool program, a water catchment or access system, a wellness discipleship team, a garden plot or other sustainability project to empower communities to become self-sustaining. The sustainability projects provide resources, job training, and financial independence.

The ICBC preschools serve as nurturing environments that provide essential education, safety, and a sense of community for 30 - 40 children. Each child is also provided one daily meal. Impressively, children attending an ICBC preschool show academic advancement of one - two years ahead of their non-ICBC peers when entering primary school.

The sustainability projects undertaken ensure that each ICBC becomes self-sustaining within two years after completion. These initiatives are made possible through collaborative efforts with our Eswatini partner, Pastor Kevin Ward, and Challenge Ministries to develop and maintain these invaluable community resources.
