Jerusalem School Bethlehem

The City of Bethlehem may have been the place of our Savior’s birth, but today it is a city in the West Bank whose population is comprised mainly of Arab Muslims, with just 10% Christians. The Jerusalem School Bethlehem is an Assemblies of God preK-12th grade school with over 800 students in attendance.
Our mission is to raise the next generation of Palestinian youth with a Christ centered, peace-focused English education.

The Academy had an opportunity this year to purchase the land adjacent to its current campus. With time being of the essence, we were blessed to be able to quickly provide the funds needed to purchase the land for expansion, beating out many Muslim-based organizations that had hoped to make the purchase.

The GSV grant was used to purchase a piece of property that will be used for an agricultural project for the Jerusalem School Bethlehem. Students will be learning how to use the land available to produce food for their families.
