Evasue

The Evangelical Students’ and Graduates’ Union of Ethiopia (EvaSUE) is one of the fastest-growing student movements in the world. Founded in 1963, EvaSUE has grown to 105 staff serving over 50,000 students on campuses around the country. EvaSUE equips thousands of university students and graduates every year to share
the gospel.

The GSV grant has allowed EvaSUE to expand its Business for Kingdom Impact (BKI) initiative. EvaSUE graduates present kingdom business ideas. The winners receive start-up funds and training. Because Christians are launching these kingdom businesses, they will help change the society of Ethiopia and beyond for the Kingdom of God!

GSV Impact

2023 Winner: Friends Dairy Farm Before the BKI competition, Friends Dairy Farm had 25 cows, four full-time employees, and sold about 50 liters of milk daily. With the winnings, the farm doubled the number of cows, hired six more employees, and now sells 150 liters daily. The farm serves a community of 2,000 households in a low income condominium area for lower and middle-class families.
