Chi Alpha

Universities are one of the largest local mission fields. Chi Alpha (XA) serves as the missionary arm of the Assemblies of God for local universities. Chi Alpha, meaning “Christ’s Ambassadors” (2 Cor. 5:20), has a global presence with 300 XAs reaching their respective campuses. In Dayton, there are 40,000 students on the University of Dayton, Sinclair Community College, and Wright State University Campuses.

The GSV grant was used to pay off the remainder of the Wright State University XA House mortgage and fund immediate repairs and updates. For decades, this property was the hub of terrible parties at WSU. In 2006, Dayton Chi Alpha was miraculously able to purchase this property, and now it’s used as a hub for reaching university students for Jesus.

Now, as the rental income is received, it can be reinvested into student mission trips and students who want to engage in the global mission field.
