Hope House of Northwest Michigan

Hope House of Northwest Michigan, a maternity home that provides a safe and loving Christian living environment for single, expectant young women who need assistance.

Hope House provides an opportunity for young pregnant women to have their babies and live at Hope House for up to two years in a caring and nurturing environment. Through guidance, the young mothers will learn new life skills training, receive employment assistance education, counseling, participate in Bible study, and attend weekly church services.

The goal of Hope House is to graduate each new mom to pursue the successful and wonderful future that God has planned!

The CLC grant was used for necessary renovations of the house. This includes converting the garage into a nursery, bathroom, foyer, and office space. The open front porch was enclosed to provide a counseling room. Also, a fourth bedroom was added.
