Founded in June 2021 by three successful entreprenuers, Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative, addresses the skilled trade workforce shortage, the increasing needs of emancipated youth, and those battling addiction by providing education to lead heathy lives.
The GSV grant provided 70% of the necessary funds to build an onsite greenhouse. The Greenhouse Project will create a space where clients with substance abuse disorders can learn about cultivating food, enhance their nutrition through fresh produce, and use teamwork skills for a common goal.
