The vision for Mercy Multiplied was launched in 1983 after Founder and President, Nancy Alcorn, spent eight years working for the government. Realizing true life transformation would not come as the result of any government system, Nancy started the first residential home in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Mercy’s Residential Counseling Program helps young women ages 13-32 break free from life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. These residential services are offered free of charge.
Mercy Multiplied provides Nashville residents with a well-maintained home to communicate God's abundant grace, demonstrating their worth through a comforting environment. As with all homes built in 1995, much of the tile had become worn and chipped, several rooms required fresh paint, and water-damaged ceilings needed to be repaired. The funds provided by the GSV grant covered the cost of these improvements.
