LOVEDAYTON

LOVEDAYTON is Christian Life Center’s annual day of giving back to the community we love. Hundreds of volunteers gather for worship and then depart to complete projects planned at several Dayton ministry locations.

In addition to the landscaping, cleaning, and painting projects volunteers typically complete, several new “sites” were added:

• ‍Prayer warriors walked the streets of Dayton, praying for God’s protection and guidance for the city.
• CLC Staff visited worksites delivering popsicles, water, and encouragement as part of the LoveDayton Hype Train.
• Loads of Love team members visited 14 local laundromats building relationships by paying for laundry, supplying detergent/dryer sheets, and praying for the needs of those they met.
• Sleep in Heavenly Peace was invited to set up a portable bed-building operation in the West Auditorium parking lot. Their motto of “No child should ever have to sleep on the floor” was embraced by the team of CLCers who built 52 beds in three hours!
