LOVEDAYTON Serve, formerly known as Samaria Serve, highlights a dedicated approach to hands-on involvement and invites every CLCer to be an active part of the mission and to be part of making a difference in Dayton.

In the fiscal year from September 2023 to August 2024, CLC congregants were actively involved in various monthly LoveDayton Serve projects. They painted the entrance of the No Longer Strangers ministry house, distributed candy at New Hope/Good Shepherd Ministry’s Trunk or Treat event, bought sheets, towels, and blankets for Compassion First through an Amazon Wish List, hosted a luncheon for widows and widowers called the Not Alone Luncheon, organized a Respite Day for Seeds of Hope’s foster families, provided a meal and worship in collaboration with STUDENTLIFE at Victory Project, and collected a large amount of food for CLC's Food Pantry Restock event.
