Good Shepherd Ministries

Good Shepherd Ministries (GSM) is a Christian agency dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery and re-entry by providing comprehensive social services. Their Life Recovery Center offers a path to a fresh start, empowering clients to rebuild their lives and achieve long-term recovery. With a remarkable 68% success rate, they currently house 28 clients, 12 of whom are working, while 16 are actively participating in the recovery program. In 2023, they launched several impactful community service projects and forged collaborations that have positively affected the lives of not only those in the program, but those in the neighborhoods they live in.

These initiatives reflect their commitment to transforming lives through recovery and service.

The GSV Grant awarded enabled GSM to purchase and renovate their newest, multi-family house at 3212 East Third Street. It will be home to four-six recovering brothers and will be the next step in recovery. The property is a double lot and will provide ample outdoor space, including a big deck and backyard, ideal for relaxation and community gatherings.
